Content Curation
My content curation is about teaching common core mathematics using Cognitively Guided Instruction, or CGI. I participated in a year-long program sponsored by the Illinois West 40 Schools and the University of Illinois at Chicago. Teaching second grade math using CGI has altered my instruction dramatically. Using CGI, my students have greatly improved their number sense and problem solving abilities. I hope my collection will give colleagues the confidence to try CGI math instruction.

I tried to use Wordle to create an image of key words from my philosophy of education, but it wouldn't work. So, I tried ABC Ya, and I've attached it below. ABC Ya is a nice site, and finding it will help me locate interesting things for my second-grade class. Hopefully!
